How you can support Your support is vital wether morale or material, to reach our goal for the charity by raising a minmum of 1.000 Pound Sterling (1.600€). Of that 60% will go to "Send a Cow", the remaining 40% to "Save the Children in Mongolia". Learn more about these by clicking on their Logo in the column on the left.
Below are 5 ways in which you can support us, remember it's balm for the soul, yours, ours and especially the needy, so please be generous:1. Help us reach our goal for the Charities, that's what it's all about, giving for a really better world. Becoming a supporter will put your name (or nickname if you prefer) on the flanks of "Ducky" so you will travel with us.
2. Donate over a 150 € to become a sponsor and you can have your business Logo on the car, catching the Media and public for 30 days and also on TV thereafter! Contact us us for details, cheques, cash, etc. Of course "petrol money" is much appreciated to make it all possible and successful to the finish.
Please click on any or all of the 3 safe and secure "On-Line" donation links below:

3. By sending us supporting mail. We know we're crazy so well wishers and morale boosters are very welcome.
4. Come and cheer us on when we leave Madrid (party time) or better still at the start in London on Saturday July 30th (again party time) and the really daring ones can hope to see us arrive at the finish (and join the party there)!
Why are we doing this?
London 7 July 2005 - My warmest sympathy and feelings for the victims and their surrounding after the horrific bomb attacks. Having closely experienced the Madrid bombing last year I am angry, bitter and dissapointed at those fellow humans still thinking terrorism will solve anything, whatever at all. Grief, anger, hatred, revenge, misunderstanding and more violence is too often the undesired result...
... hopefully sooner rather then later all parties concerned will realize we can support and assist each other in more peaceful ways, with understanding, respect and tollerance. Peoples in difficult situations should ask, campaign and draw the attention by example, as now these days in history and especially in Europe there is so much tolerance, a widespread process of awareness to really do something about the many ailes on our globe in too many spheres; humanitarian, ecological, social, political and more. There are so many more positive ways then bombs (and that goes for everyone!) to show discontent, to move things in society for the better with inmensly more positive results then seeding grief and generational anger - for the long term especially!
One should investigate and focuss on terrorist deep down motives so we can remove these if we want to aspire to a better world. One of these ways, however small on scale, is the Mongol Rally: drawing attention to charity work, efficiently, inmediately and actually. Setting an example, materially helping the poor and unfortunate by supporting those organisations which have the capacity and methodology to get the right results. Not the ones where our charity dissipates in corrupt pockets all around, or lash parties or dinausoric burocratic inmobile and pompous organisations.
It may be a contradiction we do it with cars but you know what, it is also very educational, and an example for others: we're showing it's not necessary to have a total adventure holiday in a selfish manner by using over 2 ton airconditionned 4x4's, stay at lush hotels and overspend on useless equipment, showing off our Dior accessories and greatly polluting the environment on the way thereby drawing feelings of inequality, disrespect and bitterness among the different cultures we visit! Our little vehicles also allow us to cover a vast area/distance in a limited time for more people (imagine doing it walking, cycling, etc.).
No, it is a really satisfactory challenge to do it in a 550Kg, 600cc recycled (!) vehicle, giving a real fight with oneself and surrounding circumstances thrown at us, showing a certain solidarity, respect, sympathy and directly supporting those that need it most while we're on our adventurous way.
Think about it and let's all be a bit less shelfish and use our imagination positively to make a better world, now ... we can afford to be generous + we can't afford not to be!
I would love to hear your views, opininion and positive suggestions, whether you agree or not, please send me an e-mail, thanks.
